Looking for Professional Marketing & Brokering of your Alpacas?
Exclusive Agent Representation is Available
Close-Knit offers breeders who have alpacas they wish to sell the opportunity to have their animals assertively, pointedly marketed and advertised via a partnership with Wren Owens. The seller, or owner, of the alpaca pays an annual signing fee and this gets the ball rolling. Photos are taken, and debris and clutter are taken out of the photographs if necessary. They are cropped to maximize visibility and presentation of the alpaca, and matched with exciting, interesting and relevant text to help potential buyers learn as much about each alpaca as possible, and as quickly as possible, too. The alpacas appear on anywhere from two to six web sites, on printed sales lists and brochures, and can be shown live via scheduled appointments. Fleece samples are collected and supplied any interested buyer, along with all health records, ARI certificates and histograms. Copies of contracts offered by sellers are also presented to any potential buyers upon request.
Attention to detail and focus on both the Buyer's AND Seller's needs and wants have proven paramount to the successful sales of quality alpacas. A knowledge of the alpaca industry and present fair and reasonable prices for various types of alpacas and services has contributed greatly to this success. A genuine love of alpacas, along with working with people supports the end goal of placing quality, healthy alpacas in new homes with owners who will be very happy with their purchases.

Buyers are thrilled with the fact that they have received more genetic diversity
via purchasing packages of animals from multiple farms, while enjoying
the convenience of managing all the acquisitions with the help of one
experienced professional. Buyers discover they have garnered a complete TEAM of several mentors &
after-sales support people in purchasing a general C-K package. When
they purchase a Collection from The Secret Meadow, where the sellers have
perhaps left the alpaca businesses for any of a number of reasons, they
will have the ongoing after sale support from Close-Knit Alpacas. This
method represents a win/win/win for everyone.
Buyers receive supportive, non-biased help in making their choices. Sellers find themselves with serious
buyers without having done much more than provide necessary facts,
fleece samples, records and images of their animals to Wren, and authorize her to act on their behalf as their Exclusive Agent. Should a Seller go on vacation, or have a family emergency that may demand their focused attention, the marketing and sales of their alpacas will still be underway at all times. This is a professional relationship founded on mutual respect, objectives and trust. Without all three of these qualities alive and well and within the working relationship, success will surely be elusive.
If this kind of dynamic arrangement is of interest to you, please call or write today to schedule a telephone interview where more details can be discussed and any questions answered. Only a limited number of animals and farms can be represented, so please be prepared to fax or email copies of the ARI certificates for your animals to the Close-Knit office for review prior to the interview. This will help determine at the outset if your animals will provide special interest and genetic diversity to the Close-Knit Alpacas sales list.
