We had not originally planned on having a stud on our farm so quickly into the launch of Close-Knit Alpacas; but as our business evolved, and as our knowledge increased, we found ourselves realizing that if it were at all possible to locate and acquire an exceptional male (or two, or three?) that would stand stud on our farm, we would realize exceptional growth in the quality of our small herd, and more quickly. We realized we would also experience an opportunity to more easily share what we feel are outstanding genetics and qualities with other alpaca breeders desirous of the same traits we feel are paramount in the development of ideal alpacas. Since we have been blessed with adequate space and facilities to accommodate such males and the offering of their services to visiting dams, we decided this is a service we are quite happy to offer the alpaca community. We hope you will spend some time to get to know us, check out our facilities, and get acquainted with the males we have chosen to serve as our foundation herd sires.
