"Invest in stock that continues to grow."

Close-Knit Alpacas is proud to be the Founder of the exciting new marketing program known as ALPACAS IN THE USA! The program is steadily growing and offers Licensees a multi-faceted approach to marketing alpacas and their businesses. For a start, Licensees to the program have exclusive rights to utilize the Alpacas in the USA! Impact Movie, which introduces important facts about alpacas to those seeking to learn more.

Licensees also enjoy visibility on an elegant, user-friendly web site; a web-based store, filled with hundreds of items available for purchase with the "Alpacas in the USA!" logo and slogan emblazoned on them; and exclusive, high-quality radio advertisements customized for each Licensee's farm. All marketing tools are offered signed Licensees on an "ala carte" basis.

The group of Licensees numbers over 75 nationwide as of January 1st, 2008.

Becoming a member of A/USA involves submission of the Application (click on the picture to the right), confirmation of invitation, full execution of the Perpetual Use Licensing Agreement (extended to new farms after approval of their application), and payment of all associated fees (outlined below).

The Perpetual Use Licensing Agreement for the Premier impact movie is required of all new participants before any other marketing tools may be purchased, and provides Lifetime use of the original, Premier impact movie and the rights to publish, email, display, copy and give this little movie away to anyone you want to! This helps create more informed buyers of alpacas, before they even have a chance to visit the A/USA Licensees' farms. The Premier Perpetual Use Licensing fee is $750.

A non-refundable Application Fee of $50 must accompany any Application Form in 2008 (step #1).

Additionally, an Enrollment/Administrative fee of $145 is required for enrollment to the A/USA program and Initial Setup onto the A/USA website. This fee is payable along with the Premier Perpetual Use Licensing fee, approximately 7 to 10 days after the Application has been received by A/USA and when the Application has been approved by the present group of Licensees (step #2), making for a total cost of just $945 in the first year to become a Lifetime Licensee ($50 + $145 & $750). No other fees shall be required in the future other than the annual recurring website subscription fee (currently $225/year), should the Licensee wish to continue with subscription to the website each year, or fees associated with other marketing tools and offerings. The Enrollment/Administrative and Licensing Fee may be paid in one, two, three or four installments, if desired, over one year. Once the first-year fees are paid in full, the new Licensee may participate in other unique A/USA marketing opportunities.

A SECOND IMPACT MOVIE, specifically about SURI alpacas, is in the final stages of production and will soon be released. Licenses for this particular marketing tool are offered "ala carte" and exclusively to holders of licenses for the Premier (first) impact movie. If a new applicant to A/USA wishes to obtain both the Premier and Suri Licenses at the same time and immediately upon joining, a special fee for both licenses of $1200 may be paid at that time (or in installments as outlined), along with the $195 first-year Application and start up fees (new total of $1395).
